A place to eat, drink and sleep Apr 20, 2008
A friendly welcome and managed to get one of the few remaining rooms.
They have a restaurant, bar and a couple of swimming pools. There's also a dedicated tourist office - where you can book your travel and accommodation for all the major places in Fiji. You'll soon be sailing off to the Yasawas, or wherever takes your fancy. My room had a fridge, air-con (and ceiling fan - bliss), TV and a decent bathroom, though the shower is open and you have to be careful about getting water everywhere. You can buy cards for internet access - they have 3/4 terminals. There's also a little shop at the front of the hotel, to get all your basics from. Free transfer to the airport, if you arrange it with the front-desk. It's a bit out of town - a five minute taxi drive, or get one of the local buses.
