Westin Warsaw Hotel
Westin Warsaw Hotel Reviews
Convenient location – Spacious rooms Nov 05, 2008
The Westin Warsaw is a great choice for business travelers and tourists in Warsaw. It’s located right in the central business / financial district of the city and is close to shopping, museums and the central train station. It is a 20 minute walk from the city’s old town. The hotel is relatively new, the building is in great condition and has a spectacular enormous glass atrium. My room here was spacious with plenty room for storing your stuff and settling in comfortably. There was a coffee maker in the room, bottles of mineral water, an ironing board and an iron. The comfort of beds is a pretty personal thing, but I found the bed and pillows in the hotel to be comfortable. Everything was very clean too.
I was in for a pleasant morning: the hotel’s buffet breakfast is fantastic - you can definitely put on a little weight here if you’re not careful. They offer just about anything you could want for a tasty start to your day. The receptionists can indicate good three and five kilometer running routes in case you want to burn those calories off! The Fusion restaurant in the hotel is also good, aside from eating there as a hotel guest, we’ve held some business lunches there and been happy with the food and service. The top four floors of the hotel are an executive club which includes a lounge and bar area with drinks, snacks and comfortable spaces for doing a little work without just staying in your room. There’s a 24 hour fitness center, one of their weaker points, it’s pretty small and not too easy to get into. Once you manage to sign their waiver form, you can access this anytime, but getting that waiver taken care of is quite a task! Another weak point is expensive Internet access. I found the personnel to be helpful and friendly. Aside from my stays here, other personnel from my company and friends visiting Warsaw have been guests here and have been quite happy with this hotel. Part of the Poland travel blog |

This is a work deal, so my first hotel is the Westin. It's a fine place to stay - although you might as well be in any city in any country. A nice hotel, but it certainly doesn't feel Polish! I figure I'll do something about that very… Arrival... |
