Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas Reviews
Apr 11, 2009
Great Service and location. Hotel is right on the water, but you can't "walk-out" to the water. You are on a cliff, and I believe there were stairs you could take to get to a beach somewhere on the property, but we never did.
The Westin Kids Club was great as well. We put our 4 & 7 year old in it when we wanted to do day excursions. It was a little pricey (we expected that), but well worth it. The kids loved it and still rave about it. They still talk about "Fun Mark", the guy who ran all the activities. They also had lots of activities for kids outside the Kids Club - movie night - big screen on the lawn overlooking the ocean, lei making, etc. We were also there during Easter and they had an egg hunt for all the children.
The pools were nice, nothing spectacular. The gym was on the small-side, but nice as well.
Our friends own a time-share at the Westin and gave us a week. We were given a standard room, which was REALLY small, for a fammily of 4. Our friends (there were only 2 of them) had an adjoining room next door and had, basically a condo. They had a full-size kitchen, living room, dining room table and one-bedroom. We ended up spending most of our time in their place. We did have the option to upgrade to the larger room for free, but we would have been seperated from our friends, and decided to just stay in the room we were given. We had great oceanviews from our room as well.
We also really like that they had BBQ grills all over the property. We grilled out a few times during our stay, which saved a little $.
Overall, it was one of our favorite trips and would highly recommend this hotel.
