Westin Nova Scotian Hotel Halifax (Nova Scotia)

This was a beautiful and clean hotel, with friendly staff and great amenities.

We found the hotel on the internet advertised with a special rate. We didn't realise that you had to book through the internet to get the low rate, but the staff gave us the lower rate anyway.

The rooms had huge, comfortable, and clean beds. Huge flat screen television with a lot of channels and movies available by purchase. The bathrooms were very modern and spotless.

Downstairs was a restaurant and bar, and a room that had a weekly comedy night. Cost less than $5 to get in, and the beer was reasonably priced.

About a 5 minute walk from the hotel were a handful of great bars and places to eat; to suit any budget. And if you walked further down you would reach the harbor.

After a night out, it was good to be able to come back and use the warm indoor pool.
