It doesn't get any "deeper" than this! Jul 28, 2008
Our private tour (you must call ahead or stop by in the morning for reservations) took us beneath the Western Wall to the original paths walked by pilgrims thousands of year ago. It is simply breath-taking to see the original carved stones of Herod's temple, all marked with his unique "frame"! I suppose my favorite part was the scale model of the Holy Temple, with its moving parts and animated lighting. And don't forget to take a moment to meditate before the brick wall marking the spot of the Holy of Hollies 90 meters away...I toured the Western Wall Tunnels in March, 2005.

Adi said her goodbyes, she had to get to school to work on her final project which was to put on a music and dance show. But she left porridge on the stove and her room mate offered me fresh rolls of bread from the local bakery. After showering, re-…Western Wall tunnel, I resumed the aimless walkabout.
