Wells is a tiny city near Bristol and Bath. It is very pretty, and has a stunning cathedral with one of the world's oldest working clocks. There is also a big fudge shop.
The cathedral has a strong tradition of music adn there are many musical concerts.

The hill helped a bit, but having failed to find any car parks in Glastonbury, I was still stressed, so I stopped in Wells to see the cathedral, and, more importantly, the placed where they filmed Hot Fuzz. Here are the piccies.
