When I was in Wellington in Dec.08. My brother, nephews and me, visited Te Papa the New Zealand national Museum. It's a great way to find out the history of N.Z. and there is also a lot of hands on things for the kids. They loved the earthquake house. Te Papa had just opened the display on the giant squid caught in N.Z. waters. The museum sits on the water front and it's a lovely place to walk around and get a coffee/ drink after the museum. It's certainly worth a vist.

We arrived in Auckland at the start of June. We picked up our Camper and began our two week tour of the north and south island, before we settled in Wellington for the remainder of our time in New Zealand. Some of our stops included, Auckland, Hamilton, Taupo, Rotorua, Napier, Hastings, Palmerstone north, Wellington, Wairarapa(featherston, Grey town, martinborough, carterton, marsterton), Nelson, Christchurch, Akaroa.

Me and my friend studied one semester in Auckland,NZ. Although we were really busy with uni and it rained a lot we love NZ ! NZ rocks but Auckland sucks ;) !

After an amazing year working & meeting new friends in New Zealand, it was time to start travelling this amazing country. The plan was to start in the South Island, head North & to make my way back home to the UK through Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, South Korea, China & unplanned Taiwan.

One of the best years of my life; I met so many fantastic people and drove around an amazing country! I can't wait to go back one day.
