French-Asian "Fusion" in SF's Mission District

First of all, this place is hardly fusion, unless you consider regular

French food with some mango sauce fusion. My party of five (hehe)

went here for Shinie's birthday on a recommendation from a

friend.

Appetizers: seared foie gras (not that good), shrimp (nothing special), duck (nothign special).

Entrees: duck confit (very good), scallops with mango (nothing special), steak (nothing special).

Desserts: napoleon (hardly a

napoleon, but instead just layers of whipped cream and cookie-like

pastry), sorbet (the tangerine is good), and profiteroles (nothing

special).

Overall, this place was ok, but nothing special. Nice

presentation and ambience, but the food was a let-down. However,

a 3-course prix fixe for ~$20 is a very good deal.
