Sunset picnic at Indian rock can't be beaten I think.

Great photos, angie!

You didn't get scared walking down that rock in the dark? I would have been!

Thanks! I like yours too-- I like how your photo from Indian Rock manages to capture the breadth of the horizon in one frame.

One the favorite things that I enjoyed doing after a grueling day of class was to go jogging up to Lawrence Berkeley Lab in the early evening to watch the sunset. Start your jog near the south of campus then head east, wrapping around the road behind the stadium and up the giant hill that is Centennial Dr. Once you get to the top of the hill you will find the Lab, and you can stop by the giant outdoor terrace to grab a drink from the drinking fountain and admire your hard-earned, breathtaking view of the entire bay. On clear days you can see the Golden Gate bridge and it is quite spectacular to see all the different colored reflections on the buildings and water. I think you will gain a new appreciation for Berkeley after witnessing a sunset from this place.
