If your going on San Jose, then you should be VERY careful where to put things.
Travel in SAFE places. Don´t accept any food out of a restaurant or where you see there is a lot of people eating. Don´t take "change" dollars in a street bank. Try to go before on the Airport when no one can see you. Dont look like you have lot of money. Like showing up your iPod, Laptop, Camara, Video Camara. Don´t go to Costa Rica without anyone you trust on, your travel agency must be the best agency that you can find. Don´t go by your self travel in group. And Don´t think that some people its tourist, they can look like, talk like, but they can steel from you. If you Don´t Know Spanish, go with the Tourist Guide. He knows Spanish and he knows how much doest a bag of coffee cost. I hope this helped you! Nice trip. if you Don´t know any Travel Agency of Costa Rica or someone that can tell you something like WHAT to WEAR??, What do I Have to PACK??, Will it Rain A Lot?? It can be helpful if you look at this webpage: http://www.travelinparadisecr.com/ |

I got back to the hostel, met the Canadian from the night before (who was actually in my dorm) and met a few others in the restraunt. We sat there eating, drinking and watching Kill Bill (I thought this was an odd choice of film to show while eating).

I walked round the various parks, down the central pedestrian street, saw some beautiful churches and watched people busily bustling around conducting their daily business. Sure there wasn't a lot in the city, but I thought it had its own unique charm. Heading back to the hostel I joined a large group of Europeans and North Americans and enjoyed an afternoon… Exploring San Jose |

Timo is awake firstly and sits on the terrace and watches the garden of the hotel to spot birds. Two hummingbirds fly past to collect nectar, six flycatchers look for insects, and a squirrel is jumping in the trees, even the smallest branches. A woodpecker checks if he can find food in a rotten trunk… San Jose |

…explaining to get past the guard, but walking up to the condo at the same time as JD, Jessica, Tyler, and Megan were coming back from watching the sunset was priceless. I spent a nice evening with them and had an amazing dinner, thanks to Megan. This morning was a typical day at Las Ventanas for all of you who have been here before. Morning breakfast and coffee on the porch… Let's get it started |
