Sometime in the middle of the night, our train got stopped somewhere in Germany for about 90 min. This caused me to miss my connecting train to Krakow. I had to go through tremendous hassle to get a second reservation for a train to Krakow - my ticket was valid, but seeing it was Christmas Eve, I had to have an assigned seat. Just a little while ago it was a horrible thunder over here. I'm glad that during the time we were at town the weather was good.Comparing to Krakow old-town I think Warszawa old-town isn't so beautiful... it's dirty and untended. So as for the appearance I'd say Krakow looks more like a capital than Warszawa.Of course I saw some nice places but the general expression was below average.
