A quick visit through Poland in January to see Krakow and Warsaw. Warsaw was an eyesore. Krakow was a cracker! Auschwitz wasn't exactly 'fun' but definitely a must see destination. A great trip all round!

Warsaw was actually more modern than I had anticipated. In fact, out of all the countries I visited, it was the most modern. Had time to shop and hit H&M there finally. Prices were the same or even slightly more than back at home due to the terrible dollar rates.
