Waroeng Bonita Seminyak Reviews
Waroeng Bonita in Seminyak Sep 14, 2010
The Waroeng Bonita is a quaint little restaurant right off the street and across from our hotel in Seminyak. It is easy to get to and you don't need reservations. There is mostly outside seating here, but the tables are all partially shaded because there are overhead beams with lots of vines and frangipani trees and plants.
The menu offers authentic home cooking from the islands, including exotic, piquant specialties from Bali, Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, and a full range of Western dishes, from light salads and snacks to a full Australian steak dinner.
When we were here for lunch the place was empty, so I really don't know what kind of reputation or business they get. But the food that I ordered wasn't the best. Maybe it was because we just got here after the lunch crowd, but it tasted kind of like a frozen dinner. I'm not sure how Asri rated her lunch.
So overall, this place didn't exactly meet our expectations, although the setting is really nice.
