Wanta Pension Zakopane Reviews
Great breakfast May 29, 2012
We were staying for 2 nights in Wanta Pension. Wanta Pension looks okay on the outside of the building. Inside it turned out to be a dated location (have a look at the photos). No elevator. A large staircase brought me to the first floor. I was housed in room 112, but the floor of the bathroom was flooded. The friendly lady of the reception handled quickly and changed me to room 116 on the front site of the hotel.
The rooms and the public areas of the hotel are dated furnished. But the place is clean. Television in the room. A small bathroom (but with space to put your toiletries besides on the toilet lid!), did not like the smell in the bathroom, but regarding the flooded bathroom in the other room they might have a sewer problem). Free Wi-Fi in the room too. Room 116 has a balcony. No chair provided (but the neighboring room had two… maybe they borrowed one…). Three lamps in the room, two not working.
It is a pleasant 15 minutes walking to Krupówki street, the main street with countless restaurants and shops.
The best thing about Wanta Pension is the breakfast buffet. Not the regular dishes you find everywhere, but a selection of good local bread, eggs different style, salads, salmon, fruits, coffee, tea, juices. A very friendly lady, wearing an embroidered apron, was replenishing the buffet.
