Wan Corner satay stall Kuching Reviews
Nov 12, 2006
Kuching's best satay is served in the courtyard (within the compound walls) of the Arif Hotel, in one of the stalls called Wan Corner. The sauce or kuah is average ... bit runny for my taste. Good range of accompaniments like ketupat (technically nasi impit because not wrapped in leaves) and lemang (like ketupat but made from pulut (glutinous rather than normal rice) and cooked in bamboo).
It is only available for breakfast. Don't go later than about 9:30 in case the finish up.
There are other breaktast stalls as well, eg. congee, beef noodles. Some stalls are not operational at breakfast time ... so come back lunch or dinner and check out the other offerings.
