Wally's is a hole in the wall jazz cafe in Boston. It was among my favorite hangout spots in the city. They feature live music 365 days/year. And no cover makes it even better.
The entire bar is probably ~500 sq feet, so it gets packed quickly. Not for the claustrophobic. Live music usually starts around 10:30, but get there by 10 to claim one of the tables. Drinks are pretty cheap, I think beers started at $4. This is definitely more of a local thing to do- it's neither shnazzy nor glitzy. But it's down to earth, and genuinely good music. Definitely check it out. |
