Wallis Hotel Munich
Wallis Hotel Munich Reviews
low end hotel in Munich May 12, 2008
I have stayed at better hostels than this hotel. I am not sure if its because of Munich is an expensive city but we payed 88 euros for this place and it was not worth it.
The hotel is just your average two star hotel (but somehow it says 3 stars in the door). The room was old, with two twin beds pushed together. The furniture was old and it had a 13inch TV. It did not come with internet access but there is an unsecure wifi access. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets. The bathroom was clean as well and it had a tub. I am not saying that this place is horrible but I don't see it as a three star hotel. I do believe that everything in Munich is expensive (except the beer) but I think I would have been happier in a hostel. Prices do include a very nice breakfast with tons of fruit, all types of bread, different toppings, etc. The one thing that made this hotel worth it is the gentleman that works at nights. He made some EXCELLENT tour, restaurants, sight recommendations. He has lived in many places in Europe so he not only told us about Prine, germany but other places across Europe. I unfortunately do not remember his name (it starts with an M) but he works the night shift. |
