Wall Street Inn Bangkok
Wall Street Inn Bangkok Reviews
May 25, 2005
The Wall Street Inn Bangkok is obviously an older building but has been renovated to a decent standard. Obviously its best feature is that it is situated right in the middle of the Silom district, Bangkok's entertainment (and sex) hub. Despite its central location, I didn't have a problem sleeping at night as the noise is mostly muted from inside. The hotel is situated down a side lane, with an entrance from Surawong road (just one block behind Silom). There aren't many venues down that lane, but it is across the street from the gay entertainment section, a Starbucks, and just around the corner from the Patpong night market. The elevated rail and subway stops are within walking distance as well, making it fairly easy to get to wherever you need to go. The room was clean and the staff friendly. They even put a welcome sign out in front of the hotel for guests checking in that day. After a bad flight, it was a pleasant and comical relief to see how badly they butchered the spelling of my name! I didn't realize that my name (Kris) would have two "F"'s mixed in it in Thai English!
