Walker Art Center

If you go on the first Saturday of the month, admission is free. This is a modern art museum, and my favorite part is the free sculpture garden. I'm not much of a minimalist or a modern art lover, so the Walker never really gets me going. But it is a really nice place, and the building itself is awesome. They do have some really neat multimedia centers where you sort of sit in the wall and watch the television screens. Another neat part of the museum is that it has theatre and film that you can experience as well. Some of it is really great, some of it is downright creepy, but I suppose it's all in how you look at it. The neighborhood around the museum is pretty high class, so after you're done looking at the art, you can hop in the car and take a look at the houses in the area too.
