Walibi Holland Biddinghuizen Reviews
Halloween Fright Night in Walibi Holland Oct 20, 2013
Walibi Holland as an amusement park. Most of the attractions are so called “thrill” attractions, such as rollercoaster’s called the Goliath and the Robin Hood.
Since the past 13 years they have a special event all about Halloween. It’s called: Halloween fright nights and it takes place in the last 3 weekends of October. The park, and al it’s rides are open from 10.00 till 23.00 and the fright nights start at 18.00.
The Fright Nights include a bunch of characters who are well, lets’s say creepy. They walk aroundin the so called “scare zones” the park to scare you. Besides the scary people there are also two haunted mansions and a couple of scary shows.
Be aware of the long waiting lines for the different rides and attractions. We had to wait for an hour to get in to the Robin Hood. And 45 minutes for our fries... Though there are plenty of restaurants, food courts and toilets so that shouldn’t be a problem.
Tickets have to be purchased online. You can’t buy tickets at the gate when it’s fright night. Tickets for the haunted mansions have to be purchases separately.
Tickets for the haunted mansion will cost you €35 (normal the tickets will cost €25) and tickets for the haunted mansions will cost you €5.- per haunted mansion. Yes that is expensive but there are several discounts around that time so just look around the internet for a good deal!. We paid a total of €103 euro for 4 tickets, not including the haunted mansions.
Would I recommend this event? Yes! If you like horror and scary movies it’s a lot of fun! During the day time you can visit the park without being scared. So if you are not a big fan of horror or being scared you can leave the park before the scary part starts.
The park has rides who are suited for smaller children though I would recommend the park to kids 12 years and older.
The fright nights event though is only excessable when you are 16 and older.
