Waka di Ume Resort & Spa

The small resort is a little bit outside of ubud. The resorts offers a free shuttle bus to Ubud and back some times a day. If you want you can join the free activities 4-5 times a week like rice field trekking or yoga. You also can take a cooking class there - you drive together to the market, cook in a open-air kitchen in the middle of the rice fields and have your private candle light dinner afterwards.

Very friendly staff and good service. Our bed was a little bit wet because on the day we arrived there has been a heavy rain. Because the did not have a vacant room of the same category weh got upgraded and hab a bungalow with a private swimming pool and and huge open-air bathroom with great view overlooking the rice fields.

A resort with it's own philosophy like get to know the culture or do not use any plastic in the resort.

We highly would recommand for a special, unforgatable stay, ideal for couples seraching for quietness!

The Waka di Ume is located outside of the main square of Ubud and is surrounded by rain forest and rice terraces. It is in an incredibly beautiful setting. It would be very lovely for a honeymoon or other romantic get away.

It is a small resort, and the rooms are detached from the main reception area, scattered around like villas on the property. Each villa has an amazing view of the lush surroundings and is very quiet. The property is immaculately landscaped, with tropical plants and flowers throughout.

The swimming pool is one of the most gorgeous pools I have ever seen. It is surrounded by jungle. It has several waterfall features in the pool, which creates a very relaxing sound -- perfect to take a book to for total relaxation in the sun.

The rooms are most comfortable -- large canopied beds, and bathrooms with sunken tubs that are gorgeous.

Definitely a place to go for a romantic getaway.
