Awesome Caving Trip Mar 16, 2008
At first all my friends did it and they said it was cool, but I thought it was still just an expensive touristy thing. Well, it was, but completely worth it. I think I went with the black water rafting company, and did the biggest trip they offer, forget what its called. We went to the entrance, abseiled 200ft or so straight down into the cave, ziplined in complete darkness except for thousands of glowworms, jumped 15ft into an underground river on tubes, rafted down the river looking at glowworms, and hiked up river and over 3 underground waterfalls to get out. I've done a few public and private caving expeditions in my time, but this was by far the best. Totally worth the bug bucks spent.
