Our flight from of Honolulu was due out at 0915 this morning so we had an early start to be at the airport 2 hours prior to check in. We packed, paid our bill at the hotel last night and returned the hire car yesterday as well, so all we needed to do this morning was roll out of bed, shower, pull on some clothes and jump in a cab for our ride out to the airport. There was already a line for check in when we arrived at the Jetstar counter and the couple in the line in front of us inform...

To be honest, I think I may have just been very relaxed and enjoying the last few days of my lovely honeymoon. Soaking up the sun, soaking up the view from my hotel window and as my dear friend Sweetski said, probably soaking up more than that. :) This time we stayed at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider, the oldest hotel in Waikiki. Oh, le...

So sad. Last day in Waikiki as my flight was at 10pm. Weather was bad and gas in car was low. My favorite quote of the trip "All I want is to get to Lanikai without using any gas!" Truly didn't know what to do on this last day. Couldn't figure out how to go East on H1 from Waikiki. Didn't get to say goodbye to Karhai or La'au because I didn't know how to get to them without GPS! And worst part was getting all these recommendations on places to go on last day!Luckily we were able to do one sma...

We both woke up around 4:30am. The time change was something our bodies would have to get use to. We got dressed and went outside to take a walk on the beach and wait for the sunrise. We brought cameras this time. The streets of Waikiki were pretty much deserted, there were some people waiting for buses and city workers making some repairs and cleaning the streets. Homeless people in the parks are always expected. We saw a pier jutting out of the beach and headed in that direction. With Diamond...
