Waikiki Marina Hotel Honolulu Reviews
Affordable but not Luxurious May 18, 2010
This is one of those places that has some individual condos privately owned and then some that are rented out as hotel rooms. The room is simple. One room with two beds and a decent size bathroom. The biggest reason we chose this hotel is because it has a small kitchen in each room which is great if you want to cut down on food costs. There's a microwave, refrigerator and stove in each roon. The stay probably would have been ok except... our first room had some sort of leak and the ceiling started to crumble in. halfway through our stay, we had to switch rooms. Only 1 side of the elevator worked at all and one day they decided to work on the other one. So there was no elevator, at this point we were on the 11th floor. This wasn't that bad since our car was parked on the 6th. Then in our second room, the shower broke and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall, I really didn't mind the hotel for the price that we paid but do not expect it to be luxurious.
