When I looked at the AAA tour books to find possible places to stay this one was rated only 2 stars, and having stayed in a few of those over the years I and had less than superb experiences. I was a little apprehensive.
But after looking at the website I decided in favor. And it turned out quite nicely. Although our room was not one of the individual cabins, but rather one room in a row of about ten, inside you couldn't tell the difference. Knotty pine, log cabin. with nice appointments. This was our 2econd stay in a log cabin style room. But his one had a few more square feet. Enough room here for both of us to have our feet on the floor at the same time! I would book a room here again any time. I do believe it really should be rated 3 stars by AAA.  Part of the 2006 Summer around the Western U.S. travel blog
