I like everything at this place, discover old things - cellars, coins, houses, nice parks with everything: place for children, for walk, statues etc. Old nice houses and restaurants
spectacular panorama to vltava river, grapes,
wonderful cathedral.

Last September I went to Prague. It was my third time that I visited the Czech capital and I discovered the beauty of Vysehrad. It's a castle (hrad). I travelled there by metro (line c, exit Vysehrad. Although it's very beautiful it's very non-commercialised like the Prague Castle. You can visit the Church of the Saints Peter & Paul and next to the mystical church there's a park and from the park you have a great view over the city of Prague and the Vltava. When you look to the south you have an outstanding view of the river continuing his way through the Czech land. It's worth a visit!

Vysehrad is well worth going to escape the urban jungle for a few hours. Its free and its no tourists to be sighted like the Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. There arent so much to be seen in vysehrad, but a praying room , church, an amazing… Prague

Anxious to see the city, we took off again, taking the subway to Vysehrad and walking to the Citadel, which we entered through the Tabor Gate, which, to me, was a bit disappointing. We arrived in Prague hoping to meet up with some fire twirling people at Vysehrad and we hoped that we'd be staying with someone from the group that I had contacted a long time in advance before coming to Prague. We set about getting to Vysehrad carrying all our gear through the city and then through the crowded… Dobry Den

We also went to Vysehrad, and I showed them Jama and other areas.  Our one trip out of Praha was to Plzen, where we toured the beer factory, brought no samples home though.  What they sell to bring home I could buy in the normal supermarkets.  I saw my parents… I need an umbrella...

Vysehrad , just south of New Town. This area used to be site to a palace, churches, and other medieval structures, but today it’s just a grassy knoll with a park, a large Gothic church, and some fortifications. There was not much to see here… The New Town, and our homespun Pub Crawl.
