Bavarian Beer Garden in the heart of Milwaukee May 21, 2008
Specializing in imports and looking like German beer hall, Von Trier isn't your typical fare for the North Ave bar scene in Milwaukee. The outdoor patio is small and can fill up quickly in the summer months, but is not to be missed on a warm Milwaukee evening. The clientele tends to be in the late 20-40s as the younger crowd heads to Cans or Cush down the street. Prices are a little higher due to the fact that they serve mostly imports, but would not be a deterrent to those who are looking for hard to find European brews. Also, if you will be in Milwaukee during Summerfest, shuttles run frequently from right outside the door.
But watch out for the bathrooms...they are tiny! |
