I recently heard about this service. It is a voulunteer guide/interpreter service. If you are coming to Tokyo Japan and are unsure or think you will have problems catching the subway system, ordering in resturants, making reservations then this service is for you.

The guides offer free tourist assistance and will personally show you around the sites and resturants, nature or anything else you wish to see.

You register with the website select a guide and then agree with your guide on details.

Its a great way to have a local show you around who has a fantastic knowledge of the area.

The guide will not expect any financial compensation for their services, but they will expect you to cover all expenses during the days activities. Some expenses may include food, admission fees, and travel expenses incurred both during the activities as well as the round trip cost of the guideā€™s trip to and from home.

Check with the guide about this prior to making a booking.

Its a great way to have not to worry about anything on your trip and have someone guide you and to experience Japan's culture first hand.
