Volta Region Vacation Guide
The Volta Region is located east of Accra, along the border of Togo. It is named after the Volta River. It is known as the region of contrasts as it has both the lowest and the highest point in Ghana (Keta Lagoon basin vs. Mountain Afadjato).
The towns of Ho and Hohoe are great places to stay and it is easy to get around using the tro-tro system. The system requires a bit of patience, just like everything else in Ghana :)
