We started our trip to Skiathos from Belgrade at night ( 8 p.m. ) by bus and after whole night drive we came early in the morning ( 6 a.m. ) at Volos. Our feets and back needed to stretch, morning coffee, juice and sandwiches done the rest :o) and we continued our trip by ferry to Skiathos. Het was vannacht nogal laat geworden, zodat we vandaag eens lekker konden uitslapen. Ik werd om 7.45 uur door Leida gewekt opdat ik nog even een foto van de slapende groep kon maken. Deze foto moet goud waard zijn. Toen we eenmaal allemaal aangekleed waren gebruikten we het ontbijt het het restaurantje van de camping. Eindelijk om 11.00 uur gingen we op weg naar Volos, waar we om een uur of één aankwamen. Hier kregen we anderhalf uur de tijd om in dit stadje rond te kijken. Met z’n viere...

End of a stressfull day

At 8 pm we arrive at the camp 15kms beyond Volos.  The town has many ancient ruins but we are about full up with sight seeing suchlike now.  With all the vegetables to finish up I make a soup.  Many Dutch and German campervans here and we realise from the rego plates that the Dutch seem to be the most adventurous of European nations.  It is cheap and part of a discount chain that we have used 3 times now.  Mountains rise steeply behind and the snow fileds are only abo...
