really amazing Mar 11, 2011
Long hike, hard on the knees, totally worth it. We had foggy weather so the view wasn't what we expected but there was lots of lava and the kids at the bottom of the hill sold us walking sticks for 5Q which helped us roast marshmallows and poke the lava

museum of pacaya volcano Apr 25, 2008
In San Vicente Pacaya, Escuintla, was recently opened the Museum of Volcanology. This interesting museum has photographs of the Pacaya volcano in eruption, fauna and flora of the department and volcanic stones which has launched a colossus. Admission to the museum is free and is open to the public from 7 am until 16 pm.

The volcano is climbed by domestic and foreign persons about five thousand times a month. So on your next visit to Pacaya volcano not forget to visit the Museum Volcanological
