Vákació Vendégház - Reviews - Sopron

Vákació Vendégház is a student and tourist dorm, though I seemed to be the only tourist there. It is located about 15 minutes walk from the city centre and for the price this place is quite good. I paid 2800Ft which is about 11.2 Euro and I got a twin room to myself. The price is the same for a twin as it is for a dorm , you just pay per person.
There is no kitchen here but there is a microwave and fridge in the common room which also has a large sofa, picnic benches, table soccer and a TV wth almost everyting in Hungarian.
Rooms are clean and vary from twins to 12 bed dorms, while the beds are comfortable the sheets the coverings are polyester and the pillows are painfully thin and uncomfortable.
But if you are looking to save money and still be close to everything then this is a good place to stay.
A taxi from the train station should cost just under 1000Ft.
