Probably the best gelato in the world. I have had gelato in Rome, Milan, Tourin, Orvieto, and several other Italian cities. I have had "gelato" in New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.
This is the best. I have never had better. Another great gelato place in Florence is Perche No? But even Perche No is not as good as Vivoli. Just ask any local, they will tell you this is THE place. It isn't cheap.. a very small ice cream is still a couple Euros, but it is dense, high quality ice cream that makes no compromise for quality. If you appreciate -- or think you appreciate -- gelato, this place is worth a visit. They even deliver! (In Florence) |

Earlier tonight we had gelato at Vivoli. Supposedly it's the best gelato in the world, but I couldn't tell that much of a difference from what I've had so far. But then again I'm no expert. However, at the rate I'm going, I should… Exploring Florence |
