Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Hotel Freeport (Bahamas) Reviews
Viva Spirit of Vacation! Jun 08, 2009
Just spent a week at this wonderful resort. Sure, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but it is a wonderful place to relax and not be trampled on while enjoying this white sandy beach! The temperature of the water is the same as body temperature, you won't want to leave it!
They feed you well, and the food is good, if you don't mind not having much variety (only 3 restaurants to choose from here). The staff really make the experience wonderful. There won't be anyone nagging you, and in general the spirit of the place is one of helpfulness. If you snorkel, you won't believe the kinds of fish and corals you can see taking only 5 fin strokes out from the beach here! If you dive, I definitely recommend the user friendly dive shop with excellent staff! This is a great place to be! Part of the Kay's Weekend Wanderings travel blog |

Clean and family friendly Apr 15, 2007
The views were beautiful but the rooms need work. There is a clean and friendly environment. The food needs improvement. Ive stayed here twice. I wish there was non-stop flights from Canada.read entire review at TravelPost.com

After some beach time watching volley-ball, water-balloon toss, and other organized games (the resort has an activities director who tries to get everyone involved and revved up), we decided to go do some exploring at a near-by town of Port Lucaya. …… Port Lucaya |

Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by Freeport. We'd been to Nassau twice and didn't like it at all. The geography was nice but we didn't like being accosted every few minutes by people who appeared to hate us but love our money. What we'd heard wa…… Our First Visit to Freeport |
