Viva Las Vegas Or Somewhere Close Reviews

In truth, Las Vegas can be done on the cheap or mind-blowing expensive. It depends on the experience you want. Downtown, Off The Strip, Way Off The Strip or The Strip. The flash is on The Strip. The grungier, slower
action can be found Downtown. Off Strip is much quieter, but still with
flash. Way off Strip can be the small mom and pop motels or the large spa - centered resorts. Las Vegas attracts a wide variety of people - from gambling fanatics to the people looking for spa treatments and golf
and then to the people who just want reliable weather and a good pool. The food - it's about like any place you go - good and bad. Expensive to
cheap. The larger hotels can be awfully difficult to navigate if you tire easily or have a handicap...or maybe if you simply dislike walking 20 minutes to get to the pool. If you are there for the pools, be warned
that most hotels do not offer night time swimming and that's a shame. I've left the city to stay elsewhere in Nevada and been able to have a nice, relaxing night time swim. Also, in the Winter months, it can get quite cold and most pools close for the season, although a few have small pool which are heated. The Strip is worth the trip if only to see it all fired up at night. Hookers and hucksters abound...it is an adult
playground for the young and the old. The shopping ranges from the typical cheap tourist souvenirs to the designer shops at the large resort hotels. New Years Eve is one huge party, whether Downtown or on The Strip and terrific fun, particularly Downtown. Las Vegas has it all,
especially your money - but, that's the game.
