One Hot Sunday in Virginia Beach Jun 01, 2008
One Sunday it was to hot to go to the beach so we decided to go to the Aquarium. I wasn't so sure about touching the Sting Rays, but they are friendly and touchable. The workers at the aquarium insisted that the Sting Rays are used to peoples touch and like touch by humans. I was a bit reluctant to 'pet' the Sting Ray's but mi bello spontaneously put his arms in the tank and petted the Sting Rays. All I could think about was the one that incapacitated Steve Irvin the famous animal adventurist a couple years ago. The Big sea turtles were beautiful. The aviary had some beautiful birds and somehow they don't fly away, but I am sure other birds come to visit for the free food!!!! I really got an upclose look at the sea horses.
