Vincent Guadalajara Reviews
Chic place with excellent food Jan 19, 2011
Vincent is the newest addition to the Andares Mall restaurant section, and maybe the last since there is no more space left.
The place is owned by the same group that owns the legendary "Van Go" nightclub (and thus the name) which has been a local favorite for the wealthy in Guadalajara for more than 25 years.
So in order to continue serving their old clientele (Van Go's average client is 25 years old) Vincent was opened as a contemporary adult bar.
The overall ambiance is very nice, with huge mirrors and art hanging in every wall. Videos with vintage photographs of New York are looped, and copies of the most famous of Van Gogh's works are everywhere.
The wine and liquor list is ample, and the entrées are really good, albeit a bit expensive for the portions. The Arrachera tacos with soy and chipotle sauce are really nice, and so is the octopus.
House red and white wines are modestly priced and of good quality, so give it a try while you enjoy contemporary music and feel at home if you are between 40 and 50 years old.
