I was so very excited to visit Vilnius. In my research, I have read of location of hills with a river passing through, the many beautiful churches, the fortress on the hill, the friendly people, the interesting art, and fantastic music. I am doing a 2 week organised tour that starts in Latvia and on that i'll be visiting Estonia so i thought it would be a good idea to visit the 3rd Baltic capital beforehand and check it out.

I arrived sometime after 1AM in Vilnius, met Ieva outside the airport and we drove (well, rode) to Kaunas.  We stopped at a restaurant which was open all night, but when we got to Kaunas, I was pretty tired, so I went right to sleep.
