Villas Duc Hotel Apartments Rhodes Trianda Reviews
Villa's Duc Jun 15, 2015
Our room was room 622, located on the first floor. Accessible by stairs or by elevator. One of the smallest elevator I have ever seen. Our first time going up only our suitcases would fit.
Our room was a studio apartment. A bed, a table, a closet and a small kitchenette. Also a bed for our babygirl. The bed slept great. The kitchenette was big enough as we only used it to store some food like fruits, waters and some snacks. The closet was big enough for our stuff. Between the closet and the wall we had enough room to store our suitcases. The apartment was spacious enough for the 3 o us. Though I would suggest getting a 1 bedroom apartment while traveling with a little one.
The room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. nothing fancy though it served its purpose; chilling while the baby was sleeping and drying our beach towels. Our balcony overlooked the pool.
Rooms are cleaned daily.
Our bathroom had a bath, toilet and sink. A hairdryer was also available. The bath was quite small but big enough to sit in. The sink had a lot of space on the side, very convenient for placing your toiletries.
We booked breakfast with our stay. The breakfast is set up as a buffet. Fresh fruits, yogurts, bread, pancakes and juices. More then enough to choose from though nothing really special.
At Villa's Duc they make you feel right at home. Friendly owners, friendly staff. There is a very relaxed atmosphere, a real home away from home kind of vibe.
The building is build in a square. In the middle of the square you find the pool. There is a main pool as well as a smaller kids pool. Situated a bit further away is a small playground area.
There is a small restaurant, in the morning they serve breakfast ad in the afternoon you can grab a lunch. in the evening you can get dinner or just have a drink. Once a week it is kareoke night.
There is free wifi at the reception as well as some books and magazines. If you want wifi in your room you will have to pay extra.
The complex has a great location. Not to close to the restaurants and shops so no noise at night. But also not to far away, so within 5 to 10 minutes you can sit yourself at a lovely restaurant or taverna. The same amount you would have to walk to the nearest taxi spot.
Small supermarkets are also a 5 to 10 minute walk. Walking a bit longer about 10 to 15 minutes you find a Carefour, a big(ger) supermarket.
It is the ideal location in my opinion. Far away to be quit close enough to have everything you need within walking distance. Combined with the small building, which I love, ans the overall vibe I would highly recommend coming to Villa's Duc :)
