Villarica national Park Nov 17, 2013
Villarica national Park is such a stunning place. Old lava rivers made way to the water that runs down from the snow covered top. Tours are available for climbing to the top of the crater where you can see the grandness of the nature and many vents that release smoke and some pressure from volcano stomach. This area used to be more active and you could see the lava and come close to cook the steak or marshmallows, but when I was there mountain was nice and quiet (I like it that way too…). Road through the park goes up to the cabin and little museum area where they explain the workings of volcano. In the main cabin you can get some good hearty food and drinks. Small canyon with the rope bridge is close by and you should go over and enjoy the feeling.
