Cheap & basic Jan 27, 2010
I took the Village Inn from the Lonely Planet and it was ok. It was cheap, I managed to get a room for LKR600/night (Jan 2010). The room was basic, not a thick matress on the bed and the bathroom was just about bearable, butt not what I call clean as a whistle! I've heard that Amma's guesthouse just down the road is nicer, so that may be a better option.
