This place is located directly on the beach. If you stay in the "windmill" tower then your french doors open up to an open patio where there's a little shower to hose yourself off when you return from the beach which is literally 3 steps from your door! The beach is special too. Very low-key and not overly crowded (none of the beaches there really are though), this one offers all sorts of amenities such as windsurfing rentals, kayaks, to beach bars, and you have the infamous Eden Rock right next door as well as Emeraude Plage (which are both amazing places that deserve rave reviews). The best is that when you're on the beach, the little puddle-jumpers fly directly overhead so you can wave to incomers.

The interior is light and airy, and opens up so you can get fresh air. There's a painting of the moulin's "windmill" tower in one of the bedrooms, all of which are very comfortable, and attractively decorated.

The property is surrounded by lush tropical trees and gardens which allows much privacy.

If you are a couple that wants romance, you must stay in the "windmill" tower! It's so beautiful with it's peaked open ceiling and magical beach views (which is great in case you get the urge for a late night swim) :)

After two days at sea (good for getting to know the ship and unpacking!) we arrived at St. Barthelemy, in the Caribbean. The whole holiday took place in good weather and meant that I was never in want of sunshine! Temperatures were hot all day with …… Day Four
