I think I've found my new favorite city on this trip. It's definitely Vienna. This place is so cool! The arts flouish here, with the help of government subsidies, and the music is wonderful. A group of us went to an opera house and watched The Magic Flute with cheap standing room tickets. The main part of the city is within a ring, and the whole place is so cool. The main street running through it feels like an outdoor mall; tons of clothes shops, cafes, and large cobblestone pedestrian walkw...

Nothing of particular interest happened to me in Vienna although I was only there for a day so perhaps it's unreasonable to expect a string of noteworthy tales. It's hard not to be impressed by the place though, just about every building is some sort of architectural wonder with an illustrious history I really should know more about. Here's some eye candy instead...

My cousins own a bed and breakfast in Zakopane, Poland, and invited us to stay for a few days while we were traveling around Europe this summer. It was our first trip to Poland. Zakopane is beautiful and I can't wait to go back!
