The Vienna Card is ideal for short cityvisits.
This card costs you €18,50 and in return you can travel around the city by public transport for free during the next 72 hours. Included to this are the underground, tram, busses and night busses. Next to that it gives you discounts on several different museums and attractions in the city for 4 days. There are reduced rates for museums, exhibitions, guided tours, theatres and concerts, cheaper shopping, advantages in cafés, taverns and restaurants. With each Vienna Card you can take a child up to its 15th year to travel with you for free. But you will need to take identification for the child. This is for the travelling only, for different reduced fees for children you will have to check at the museums because that varies.
