Vienna Bar/Club Reviews

Nov 04, 2006

The best place i found in 4 nights out in Vienna simply has to be the 'Chelsea Bar'. Through the day, it is open with 6 large screens, so great for watching all the main sporting events. At night (especially weekends) there are live Dj's doing their stuff until 4am. The place is packed with locals and its well worth while trying some 'strobh' rum. Pints of lager were around 3.3Euro and there are plenty of kebab stores to stumble into straight outside! The club is located underneath the underground arches, which adds to the ambience of the place. When leaving Chelsea, there are also 2 or 3 bars worth checking out to the right hand side within a few minutes walking distance. Ask locals for the location - i believe its near a metro stop on U2. Enjoy! Look into this link for some more details!http://travel2.nytimes.com/2006/06/11/travel/11surfacing.html?n=Top%2FFeatures%2FTravel%2FDestinations%2FEurope%2FAustria
