Someone on Facebook posted this as a note, and I thought it was pretty hilarious, so I've copied it here. For those of you who don't know, the Australian government are going to introduce a test that will be mandatory for people applying for citizenship. It'll have questions like, "What is the population of Australia?" and "Who was the first prime minister of Australia?" and "What is the Australian colloquialism for barbecue?" The test below is a funny take on the whole thing...LANGUAGE ...

His family cared about him and loved him, and Ape had many good friends all over the forest. One day, Ape decided to make a trip to the other side of the forest. This morning Ali found two lambs that had been completely mauled. One didn't have a head, and the other was badly gutted. It seems Mr Fox had been on the prowl again that night. I forgot to mention that during the week we also cleaned out the cabin and the houseboat a few times. Brimin Lodge has two types of holiday accommodation: the riverbank lodge and the floating lodge. Every time a visitor left, we had to change the sheets, vacuum tha place, take out the rubbish and clean the bath...

I was in tears, physically and emotionally, while counting my last few hours in a country that made me see a world where dreams come true. Yes, more than Disneyland can! I will be missing Australia. But I promise, coming back will definitely be on my priority list of future travel plans. Goodbye, Australia!
