High-Speed Passenger Ferry May 02, 2011
If you want to visit Victoria, take the Victoria Clipper from Seattle. It's quite and comfortable. Ferries leave several times per day. You can also book packages that include round trip transportation and hotel stays at remarkable prices.

I took one of the newer ferries up to Victoria. Seats were comfortable and there was enough staff to come to our tables to take food and drink orders.

One the return trip, I was on the Clipper III, which is an older ferry. The seats weren't quite as comfortable, the toilet was cramped and not as modern, and no staff to take orders (you had to get in a line to get food & drink).

I recommend buying the motion sickness pills for 25 cents. The water in the Strait of Juan de Fuca is choppy and even experienced people can get ill. Take them at the start of the trip so they are working when the water gets choppy.
