Interesting museum off the beaten-path Aug 13, 2015
I was really looking forward to visiting the Victor Vasarely Museum and I thought it was great. The museum is spread out on two floors. The bottom floors show Vasarely's earlier work, which I didn't find as interesting but at the same time it was good to see the evolution of his work. Upstairs are the typical large-canvas paintings that Vasarely is known for. So, those were great.

There was also a temporary exhibition by several international artists, which showed work that took Malevich's "Black Square" as inspiration. Some of the artworks were quite engaging others not so much.

I would recommend visiting this museum if you are interesting in this type of art. It's also quite far away from the city center so I would recommend taking public transport to get there.
