Victor Harbour was always known for being the sea side place to go on a weekend. There are surfing beaches nearby and in winter there are whales in the area. There is also the walk or ride in a horse drawn carriage, across to Granite Island.
It has now become heavily populated, with new roads leading into Adelaide, people are happy to comute. It has now gone from a tourist town or the place to live when retired, to a thriving seaside town.
