So I lived in Livingstone last summer and fell in love with the place! A couple of guidelines...#1, if you visit the market in the middle of town, don't say you will be back. They think that you really will be back and believe me, from personal experience, they will remember your name! So make sure that you say that you are just looking around. Also...make sure that you comparisson shop. Some carvings are better than others! There is a great store right across the boarder in Zim that sells wonderful carvings at an even better price! Wehn you actually decide to spend some time at Victoria Falls, remember to pack a dry set of clothes! YOU WILL GET WET! But it is totally worth it! Make sure to take your time and get everything in the park that you can! Also...since it is a National Park, you will have to pay! I think that it is about $15 per person. Don't quote me on the price, but trust me, it is worth it! Make sure while you are in Livingstone, to check out the Ebeneizer School for orphans! I worked with this school while I was there. This school is amazing and the kids are even better! Take the time to visit the wildlife park as well. There are two white rhinos there! You'll love it! And most of all, it's Zambia! One amazing country!
